Diablo Rosso II applies the Bi-Compound concept to the REAR tyre:

In the CENTRAL AREA (75% of total surface)
the high silica content compound, blended with a reactive polymer provides a BALANCED performance to offer Wet Grip, Stability and Mileage

In the SHOULDER AREA (25% of surface)
the fine carbon-black and resins compound provides the SPORT performance for Dry Grip at high lean angles

BENEFITS

Diablo Rosso II has increased the regularity of wear, thanks to the improvements on the tread pattern design that in combination with a specific silica compound offers both an excellent grip on wet and extended mileage.

The second, softer compound, derived from the experience of Diablo Rosso Corsa and localised along the naked shoulder of tread design, offers a superior grip while cornering at full lean angle.
